Visitors planning to explore Nusa Penida should understand the local tourism retribution system before starting their trip. The fee supports public services, destination management, tourism infrastructure, cleanliness, safety, and the maintenance of visitor facilities across Klungkung Regency.

Under Klungkung Regency Regulation No. 4 of 2026, the updated collection system officially took effect on September 1, 2026. The Nusa Penida tourism-area levy applies to international visitors, while entrance charges at designated tourist attractions apply to both international and domestic visitors. Nusa Penida Retribution Ticket Price

The applicable rates are:

Adults: IDR 25,000 per person Children aged 4–13 years: IDR 15,000 per person

These rates apply to the Nusa Penida tourism area for international visitors. The same rates may also be collected from domestic and international visitors at designated tourist attractions. Fees can change following government regulations, so visitors should confirm the latest information before traveling.

Tourist Attractions Covered by the Retribution System

The retribution system may apply at popular Nusa Penida attractions such as Kelingking Beach, Broken Beach, Angel’s Billabong, Crystal Bay, Tembeling Beach, Rumah Pohon Tree House, Goa Giri Putri, and other officially managed destinations.

Depending on the location and current collection system, visitors may need to show their digital ticket or payment receipt at the entrance. Some privately managed attractions, parking areas, activities, or facilities may charge separate fees.

How to Buy a Nusa Penida Retribution Ticket

Visitors can purchase the ticket through the official online system or an authorized ticket counter. When purchasing online, select the tourist destination or applicable levy, choose the visit date, enter the number of visitors, complete the required contact details, and follow the available payment instructions.

After payment, save the digital ticket, QR code, or confirmation email on your phone. A screenshot is also recommended in case the mobile signal is weak at the attraction.

Important Information for Visitors

Purchase tickets only through an official government platform or authorized counter. Check that the selected date, number of visitors, and ticket category are correct before completing payment. Digital tickets may only be valid for the selected visit date and may be non-refundable or non-transferable.

Visitors should carry their ticket throughout the tour because it may be checked at participating attractions. The retribution ticket does not normally include fast-boat transportation, hotel transfers, private tours, parking, meals, snorkeling activities, or independently managed entrance fees.
