Foundations are down on the new private villa at the north end of the garden, with the first guests expected next season.
For years the north end of the garden was where we kept the frangipani cuttings and not much else. This season it is a building site — in the best possible way.
What we are building
Wait Garden Villa is a single private villa: one bedroom, an open living pavilion, and its own plunge pool set back into the planting so it never overlooks the cottage rooms. The idea is not to make Wait Garden bigger. It is to give couples and small families the option of a whole house while keeping the same seven rooms, the same pool, and the same family running it.
When you can stay
We expect to take the first bookings next season. If you would like to hear when dates open, send us a note through the contact page and we will write to you before it goes public.
